Chevy Chase Center (corner of Wisconsin Avenue and Wisconsin Circle)

Construction by the Chevy Chase Land Company began in late 2003 and was completed in 2006. The project includes 412,000 square feet of office, retail, and restaurants, including a new and expanded Giant grocery store. For more information, visit the Land Company website, http://www.cclandco.com/.


Wisconsin Place (corner of Wisconsin and Western Avenues)

Construction by New England Development began in the fall of 2004 and was completed in 2010. The project includes 1.1 million square feet of office, retail, and high-rise residential, including a new Bloomingdale's, Whole Foods grocery store, parks, and community center. Friendship Commons (Geico site)

The Montgomery County Planning Board has approved a preliminary plan for redevelopment at the Geico site, which would include 300 multi-family housing units, 200 single-family housing units, and 810,000 square feet of office space. There is no activity at the site currently.


Courtyard by Marriott Chevy Chase

The Courtyard by Marriott Chevy Chase opened in 2009. The hotel has 226 guest rooms featuring a 32" flat panel LCD HD tv, free wi-fi, alarm clock with iPod docking station, and a mini refrigerator. The Bistro will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and four meeting rooms are available for meeting and social activities. For more information visit www.marriott.com/wasvy.
